Handcrafted in the ancient castle town of Himeji by Tanaka Brewery, founded in 1835. Located in the historic province of Harima in southwest Hyogo Prefecture, Himeji is famous for exquisite sake.

Locally grown minimally polished (90%) Yamada Nishiki rice (山田錦) and the brewery's traditional kimoto manufacturing process and wild yeast give this product its special regionality.
