Tatsuriki Junmai Vintage 1999 (Vegan)

Made from water, rice and koji rice.

Handcrafted in Japan in the ancient castle town of Himeji by Honda Brewery, founded in 1921. Located in the historic province of Harima in southwest Hyogo Prefecture, Himeji is famous for exquisite sake.

The ancient sake rice variety Omachi, which is considered the origin of sake rice, is used for this sake, which has matured for more than 20 years. Rice grains polished to 65% paired with aromatic sake yeast unfold their typically strong, round profile, which inspires with notes of rice,  nut and caramel.

The sake is certified by the Vegan Society.
