Tatsuriki J-SALIQ Japanese Sake with Sherry

Brewing year 2016, made from water, rice, koji rice and Spanish sherry.

Handcrafted in Japan in the old castle town of Himeji by the Honda Brewery, founded in 1921. Himeji is located in the historic Harima Province in the southwest of Hyogo Prefecture and is famous for its exquisite sake.

For this gathering of Japanese and Spanish craftsmanship, traditional Japanese Junmai Sake brewed from the ancient sake rice variety Omachi is refined with sherry and matured in sherry barrels. The result is a wonderfully intense aged sake with dark, spicy fruit and rice notes and with pleasant sweetness and acidity.
